GENERAL INFORMATION & CONDITIONS OF YOUR TOUR

RESERVATIONS: Reservations can be made through your Travel Agent. A deposit of $200.00 per person is required at the time of booking. No reservation is considered confirmed until M.I. Travel Inc.; receives the deposit; Balance of payment is due 45 days prior to departure. Bookings received less than 45 days must be accompanied by full payment. Payments made within 30 days of departure must be made by cashier’s check or money order.

PAYMENTS: All payments for the air-inclusive packages and “land only” must be made by Agency’s check only. No credit cards will be accepted.

LAND ONLY BOOKINGS: If only the land portion is purchased, M. I. Travel, Inc. will charge a supplement of $50.00 per person for escorted motorcoach tours and $25.00 per person for city packages.

The tour operator reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason, including insufficient number of participants. In such a case, the full refund for all monies received shall constitute full settlement.

CHANGES: After booking and initial deposit, any voluntary changes made are subject to a charge of $25.00 per city.

ESCORTED MOTORCOACH TOURS: Although shown in our itineraries as a single unit of sale, they are the result of combining components for the convenience of our clients. This means that in some tours you will not have the same guide, bus and companions during the entire itinerary. All tours are multilingual.

MODIFICATIONS: No employee of TOUR OPERATOR, nor its Agents or Representatives, can change, alter or modify any of the TERMS AND CONDITIONS of these Tour packages. No tour participant has the right to change, alter or modify any of the TERMS AND CONDITIONS of these tour packages.

TRIP INTERRUPTION: If you must interrupt your trip for any reason, or if you voluntarily do not use any of the services featured, NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR UNUSED ACCOMMODATIONS OR OTHER SERVICES. M.I. Travel, Inc. offers trip interruption insurance coverage (see INSURANCE).

AIR TRANSPORTATION: Via IBERIA AIRLINES. Air inclusive prices
Are based on special fares negotiated with the Airline. In most cases, these fares are non-refundable and they have strict regulations. In case we cannot obtain the special fare, we will use the next lowest airfare, in which surcharges will be applicable. Ask your travel agent for details.

INSURANCE: TRAVEL INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. M.I. Travel, Inc. offers you travel insurance. Please ask for brochure.

BAGGAGE: Allowed free of charge a maximum of 2 bags per person
with a combined length, width and height of 106 inches (economy class) and 124 inches (first class) provided no bag exceeds 62 inches.
On local Inter-European flights an allowance of 44 lbs. (economy class) applies.

LAND REFUNDS: All claims for refund (with no exceptions) must be sent to thee booking agent from whom the tour was purchased within 20 days after the completion of the tour. No refund will be made for services included in the program and then voluntarily not used by the passenger. No Hotels, Guides or Agents are authorized to offer refunds on behalf of M.I. Travel, Inc. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. All rates are based on currency exchange rates effective January 1, 2004 and are subject to change without notice.

RESPONSIBILITY: M.I. Travel, Inc. of New York and/or their agents act only in the capacity of agents for the passengers in all matters. All receipts, tickets, vouchers, coupons or exchange orders are issued subject to terms and conditions stated by the suppliers. M.I. Travel, Inc. and/or associated companies or agents assume no responsibility whatsoever for loss, injury, accident or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other services resulting directly or indirectly for acts of God, dangers incidents to the seas, fire breakdown in machinery or equipment, act of government or other authorities to the jure de facto, wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strike, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, delays or cancellations, changes in itinerary, schedules or from any cause beyond the company’s control and neither the affiliated companies shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of the foregoing causes. M.I. Travel, Inc. reserves the right to substitute in similar or superior category and we reserve the right to alter the itinerary or modify the places to be visited. M.I. Travel, Inc. acting as an agent between the individual supplier and the passenger is not responsible or liable for defaults of those not directly under our control.
The sole and exclusive responsibility and liability of IBERIA shall be in accordance with and as limited by the contract of carriage in the passenger’s ticket, the applicable tariffs, and the provisions of the Warsaw Convention.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: In compliance, M.I. Travel, Inc. is a registered seller of travel in this state. Registration # 2020092-40. This does not constitute an endorsement of the individual states.
